in North America. From our Headquarters in Houston, Texas, our
Chairman & Founder, Mr. T. T. Chao, has led Westlake's development
from the acquisition of a single low density polyethylene plant
in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1986 to a company with 16 operating
facilities in North America with over 1,900 dedicated and skilled
employees. This remarkable growth has been achieved through a
combined strategy of building new plants, expanding existing
facilities and acquiring assets.

Westlake produces a diverse product line of LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE resins
to meet the demanding requirements of our customer's film packaging,
bag, sheet and injection molding applications. Well known for consistency
